Hi everyone 💜 I’ve been doing yoga on and off for about 6 months (mostly YouTube flows) and I keep hearing “open the hips” but I’m not sure what that actually means in practice. My hips feel super tight (especially after sitting all day for work), and pigeon pose sometimes feels intense in my knee so I get nervous.
What yoga poses help open the hips in a safe way? I’m looking for a small routine I can do in the evening (10–20 minutes) to loosen up without forcing it. Also: should I feel a deep stretch in the front of the hip, the glutes, or inner thighs? Any cues or modifications would be appreciated. Thanks!
