Hi everyone, I’m trying to figure out what type of yoga is best for emotional resilience.
I’m not in a crisis, but I’ve noticed I get overwhelmed pretty easily lately: work stress, family stuff, and I kind of spiral into overthinking. I’ve tried random YouTube “gentle yoga” and it feels nice in the moment, but I’m looking for something that helps me stay steady over time — like bouncing back faster after a bad day, not taking everything so personally, and not shutting down.
I’m open to different styles (yin, hatha, vinyasa, kundalini, etc.) but I don’t want anything too intense right away. Also: I’m not super flexible and I can get anxious in fast-paced classes. If you’ve found a style or specific practice that builds emotional resilience, what worked for you and why?
