I’ve been bouncing between different classes lately (hatha, yin, a bit of pilates), and I keep noticing that vinyasa classes are always the most packed. Even friends who never cared about yoga say they “love vinyasa” and I’m like… why that one specifically?
I’ve tried a couple of vinyasa sessions and I get the appeal of moving with the breath, but sometimes it also feels a bit fast and I’m not sure if I’m actually doing things “right.” Is it popular because it feels like a workout? Because it’s more modern and music-friendly? Or is there something deeper about the flow that hooks people?
Curious to hear your honest takes—especially if you switched from another style or if you teach it. What makes vinyasa yoga so popular in your experience?
