I keep hearing people say “yoga gives emotional clarity,” and I’m trying to understand what that actually means in real life. I’m not looking for a magical fix—more like: does yoga help you recognize what you’re feeling, or calm down, or make decisions with less panic?
For context: I work from home, I’m on my phone too much, and lately I feel kind of “foggy” and reactive. Some days I’m fine, other days I spiral over small stuff and then I can’t tell if I’m stressed, sad, angry, or just tired. I tried a few YouTube flows and felt relaxed after, but I’m not sure if that’s emotional clarity or just being stretched.
If you’ve experienced yoga for emotional clarity, what practices helped (breathing, meditation, certain styles)? And how long did it take before you noticed a difference?
