Hi everyone 💜 I keep seeing “chair yoga” videos and I’m curious what chair yoga is mainly used for in real life. Is it only for older people, or is it also useful if you’re stiff from sitting at a desk all day?
For context: I work on a laptop, my hips and shoulders feel tight, and sometimes I get overwhelmed/stressed. I’m not super fit and I don’t want something intense, but I also don’t want to waste time on something that’s just “stretching while seated.”
What are the main goals/benefits people use chair yoga for (mobility, balance, pain, relaxation, recovery)? And how often do people usually do it to notice a difference? Not looking for medical advice, just real experiences and guidance on what it’s best for.
