Hi everyone, I keep seeing the phrase “advanced chakra yoga practice” in classes and online programs and I’m honestly not sure what it actually means.
For context: I’ve done yoga on and off for about 2 years (mostly vinyasa + some yin). I know the basic chakra names and the “themes” (root = safety, heart = love, etc.), but when people say “advanced,” is that about harder poses, deeper meditation, specific breathing, or like kundalini stuff?
I’m interested in a more spiritual practice, but I don’t want anything sketchy or overwhelming. What would an advanced chakra yoga practice realistically include, and how do you know you’re ready for it?
