I’ve been stuck in a loop of overthinking lately — replaying conversations, worrying about future stuff, making lists in my head at 2am. I’m not new to stress, but this feels like my brain won’t “switch off,” even when nothing is actually happening.
I’ve done a few beginner yoga videos at home and I notice I feel calmer right after… but the thoughts come back fast. So I’m curious: can yoga help with overthinking long-term, or is it just a temporary nice feeling?
If it can help, what kind of yoga (gentle, yin, vinyasa, breathing, meditation?) and how often? I’m not looking for a miracle cure, just something realistic that helps me stop spiraling. And if you’ve combined yoga with therapy or other support, I’d love to hear how that went too.
