Hi everyone 💜 I’m new here. I’m 36 and at my last couple of checkups my blood pressure has been on the high side (not an emergency, but my doctor said to take it seriously and work on lifestyle). I sit at a desk all day, stress is… a lot, and I drink too much coffee.
I’ve been curious about yoga for a while, mostly for stress and tight shoulders, and now I’m wondering: can yoga actually help with high blood pressure? If yes, what kind of yoga (gentle? yin? breathing?) and how often would you do it?
I’m not looking to replace medical advice—just want to understand what’s realistic and safe to try at home or in a class. Any experience welcome.
